Output quality
Each JPG is embedded unchanged — the same compressed data that was in your file is copied into the PDF, so there is no generation loss and no re-encoding. By default every page is made exactly the shape of its photo, which means no white bands down the sides. Choosing a fixed size like A4 instead will letterbox photos whose proportions do not match the paper; that is unavoidable geometry, not a fault in the conversion. Small images are never blown up to fill the page unless you ask, because enlarging adds no detail and only magnifies the blur.

Common use cases
A form only accepts a single PDF
Visa applications, university admissions and insurance claims routinely ask for one PDF when what you have is eight photos of documents. This puts them in one file, in the right order.
Sending photographed receipts to accounts
A folder of receipt photos is awkward to email and easy to lose track of. One PDF with a page per receipt is far easier for someone else to work through.
Printing a set of photos on real paper
Set the page size to A4 with a 10 mm margin. Printers cannot print to the very edge of a sheet, and without that margin the outer band of every photo is quietly cut off.

Troubleshooting
- The pages came out in the wrong order
- The list you arrange before converting is the order used, top to bottom. If files arrived alphabetically, IMG_10 sorts before IMG_2 — use the arrows to fix it, then convert again.
- There are white bars at the sides of each page
- That happens when a photo is a different shape from the paper you picked. Switch page size to "match each image" and the border disappears.
- The PDF is bigger than all my photos added together
- That is expected. Photos are copied in at full quality and the PDF adds page structure on top. To make it smaller afterwards, run it through Compress PDF.
- The tab froze or the page reloaded itself
- Everything runs on your device, so a very large batch can exhaust the memory your browser allows one tab. Convert in two halves and merge the results with Merge PDF.

Frequently asked questions
Browse pdf toolsAre my photos uploaded anywhere?
No. This tool is built out of JavaScript that runs in your browser, so the file is read from your disk into the tab and never travels further. You can open this page, disconnect from the internet, and the conversion will still work — that is the simplest way to prove it to yourself.
Can I control the order the photos appear in?
Yes, and you should check it. Files arrive in whatever order your operating system hands them over, which is often alphabetical — meaning IMG_10 lands before IMG_2. Arrows next to each file move it up or down before you convert.
Will the photos lose quality?
No. A JPG is embedded into the PDF exactly as it is, byte for byte — there is no second round of compression. The PDF is therefore a little larger than the sum of the photos, because it adds page structure around them.
What about HEIC photos from my iPhone?
HEIC will not work here, because browsers outside Safari cannot decode it at all. Run them through HEIC to JPG first, then bring the JPGs back to this page.
Where does my file go when I use this tool?
