The short version

We do not have accounts, so we do not know who you are. Your files are processed and then deleted. We keep a small amount of technical data to stop abuse and to know which tools people use.

Files you upload

Uploaded files are written to our server under a randomly generated name that has no relationship to the name of the file you sent. They are never placed in a public directory and are only reachable through a download link containing a random identifier.

Input files are deleted as soon as the conversion finishes, and in any case within two hours. Converted files are deleted 24 hours after they are created. Deletion is automatic and runs every 15 minutes. We do not open, view, analyse, copy or share the contents of your files, and we do not use them to train anything.

What we store about the request

For each job we record:

• which tool was used, and the input and output formats
• the file sizes before and after
• whether it succeeded, and an error code if it did not
• the times it was created and completed
• a keyed hash of your IP address — not the address itself. We cannot reverse it back into an IP, and we use it only to apply rate limits and to identify abuse

The original filename is stored temporarily so that your download has a sensible name. It is erased when the job expires.

Cookies and analytics

We do not set advertising cookies and we do not use cross-site trackers. If analytics are added in future, this page will be updated before they go live, and the description here will match what is actually running.

Third parties

Traffic reaches us through Cloudflare, which acts as a CDN and provides protection against denial-of-service attacks. Cloudflare processes connection data on our behalf. Beyond that, your files stay on our own server and are not sent anywhere else.

Your rights

Because we do not hold accounts or anything that identifies you personally, there is normally nothing for us to look up, correct or delete on request — everything expires on its own within 24 hours. If you believe we hold data about you, contact us and we will respond.
