Using the service

FlipMyFile is free to use and needs no account. By uploading a file you confirm that you own it or otherwise have the right to process it.

What you may not upload

Do not use this service for material that is illegal where you are or where our servers are, for content that sexually exploits children, or for anything intended to attack our infrastructure — including files crafted to exhaust memory or CPU. We block and report such activity.

Limits

Files are capped in size and, for video, in length and resolution. Each address may run a limited number of jobs at once and a limited number over a rolling window. These limits exist so one person cannot make the service unusable for everyone else, and we adjust them as capacity changes.

Availability

We run this on a modest server and make no uptime promise. Jobs can fail, queues can back up and the service can be taken down for maintenance without notice. Keep your original file — always. Treat anything you download here as a copy, never the only copy.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a conversion will succeed, that the result will suit your purpose, or that quality will be preserved to any particular standard. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from use of the service.

Changes

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
