How to convert PNG to JPG
- Choose your PNG. Drag a PNG onto the box, or click to browse. Files up to 50 MB.
- Set quality and background. Quality 85 suits most photos. Pick the colour that should replace transparency.
- Convert. Press Convert. Your file is queued and processed on our server, usually in under two seconds.
- Download. Save the JPG. The copy on our server is deleted automatically.

Your files stay private
Uploads are stored under a random name with no connection to the file you sent, and they are never served from a public directory. Input files are deleted within two hours and finished downloads within 24 hours. Nobody looks at them, and nothing is shared with anyone.

- What happens to transparent parts of my PNG?
- JPG has no transparency channel at all, so every transparent pixel has to become a solid colour. We default to white because that is what most people expect on a web page, but you can pick any colour before converting. If you need to keep transparency, convert to WebP instead.
- How much smaller will the JPG be?
- For photographs, expect 70–90% smaller at quality 85. For screenshots, logos and flat-colour graphics the saving is much smaller and the result can look worse than the PNG — those are the cases where PNG or WebP is the better choice.
- Will converting lose quality?
- Yes, JPG is lossy by design. At quality 85 the loss is invisible on most photos. Below about 70 you start to see blocky edges around text and sharp lines. The original PNG on your computer is untouched either way.
- Do you keep my files?
- No. Files are stored on our server only while the conversion runs. Uploads are deleted within 2 hours and finished downloads within 24 hours, whichever comes first. We never open, inspect or share them.
