Because the width follows from it. If you set both, any mismatch with the original aspect ratio would either stretch faces or add black bars. Choosing the height and letting us compute the width keeps the picture honest.
Can I make a video bigger?
You can pick a resolution larger than the original, but it will not add detail — it only spreads the same pixels over a larger frame, and the file gets bigger for nothing. Scaling down is where the real benefit is.
How much smaller will the file be?
Going from 1080p to 720p typically halves the file size; 1080p to 480p often cuts it to a quarter. The exact figure depends on how much motion and detail the footage contains.
Do you keep my files?
No. Uploads are deleted within 2 hours and finished downloads within 24 hours, whichever comes first. We never watch, inspect or share them.
