None at all. The video stream is copied byte for byte and only the audio track is removed. This is one of the few operations here that is genuinely lossless.
Why would I want to mute a video?
Background noise you would rather not publish, copyrighted music that would get a social post taken down, a recording where someone says something you did not mean to capture, or simply making the file smaller.
Can I add different audio afterwards?
Not with this tool — it only removes. You would need a video editor to lay a new track over it.
Do you keep my files?
No. Uploads are deleted within 2 hours and finished downloads within 24 hours, whichever comes first. We never watch, inspect or share them.
