How to convert WEBP to JPG

- Why will nothing open my WEBP file?
- WebP is well supported in browsers but patchy everywhere else. Older versions of Photoshop, most print-shop upload forms, plenty of e-commerce back ends and some phone gallery apps still do not read it. JPG is understood by essentially everything.
- My WEBP is animated. What do I get?
- JPG cannot hold animation, so you get the first frame as a still image. If you want to keep the motion, convert to GIF or MP4 instead.
- Does this lose quality twice?
- A little. The WebP was already compressed, and JPG compresses again. We default to quality 88 rather than 85 for this reason — slightly larger file, but the double compression stays invisible.
- Do you keep my files?
- No. Files are stored on our server only while the conversion runs. Uploads are deleted within 2 hours and finished downloads within 24 hours, whichever comes first. We never open, inspect or share them.
